COLIN EGGLESFIELD
Colin Egglesfield is an American actor, producer, author, model and celebrity personality who grew up in Crete, Illinois. He attended the University of Iowa and upon graduation moved to New York City and began his journey pursuing his professional acting career.
During his over 20+ years in the entertainment industry, Colin has crafted a successful career in hit television shows such as All My Children, Melrose Place and The Client List. Colin has also worked with some of the industry’s top talent including Sylvester Stallone, Gary Oldman and Susan Lucci, He is best known for his portrayal of Dex Thaler, opposite Kate Hudson, in the hit romantic comedy Something Borrowed.
With his recently released book, Agile Artist: Life Lessons from Hollywood and Beyond, Colin shares his experiences overcoming challenges that stand in the way of our life passions, dreams and goals. Everything Colin has learned from working with the top acting teachers, life coaches and industry professionals in the world is the culmination of what it means to be an “Agile Artist”- someone who is able to embrace uncertainty, change and hardship and use it to create the life of their dreams.
A two-time cancer survivor, Colin also offers insight on how to create the mindset necessary to stay empowered in the face of the complete unknown. Colin is also an avid runner and regularly participates in triathlons and marathons raising money for St. Jude Hospital and several other charitable groups.
