Pooja Patel, RN, BSN is one of R3’s Nashville providers. She began her nursing career in 2019 after graduating from the University of Kentucky with her BSN. She worked as a critical care nurse in the trauma-surgical ICU in Lexington, Kentucky and as a travel nurse in Nashville, TN. 
 
After three years of being a critical care nurse, she has transitioned to the role of being an aesthetic nurse at R3 Anti Aging to pursue her passion for health and beauty. She blends the art of aesthetics and medicine in order to empower her patients to feel confident in their own skin and become the best version of themselves.  
 
She is ecstatic to work with her patients and aid them in achieving their own unique aesthetic goals. Pooja’s goal is to provide a safe, comfortable and positive experience for patients. Aside from nursing, she loves to travel, hike, workout, and spend time with loved ones. Pooja practices makeup artistry on the side and loves all things fashion and beauty!

She soon discovered that helping people was what she wanted as a career field so she obtained her CNA certification and quickly began working in nursing homes, hospitals, and palliative care. 
 
After her older brother had a tragic automobile accident, she fell in love with the way the nurses were able to treat not only his physical pain, but also his emotional pain. That is when Ciara decided to pursue her RN degree. 
 
She started off in a medical surgical unit treating all types of patients from all walks of life. Even though she loved her hospital experience, she wanted a reasonable schedule with her family and that is when she transitioned to aesthetics. Not only did aesthetics open a whole new world for creativity but she loved the joy it would bring patients when they saw their results. Ciara has a knack for making people feel good about themselves and also using her skills to enhance their natural beauty.
